OUR tOP 3 VALUES

  1. MAKE DISCIPLINE FUN

  2. RESPECT EVERYONE’S BEST

  3. EXCEED HIGH STANDARDS

Giving BAck

Supporting our community is super important at the Dojo. This is why we do annual fundraisers for local non-profits and donate dozens of memberships annually to our local schools for their fundraisers.

Every year in November, our Dojo family partners with local shelters and Family Service Agency to put together the “Thanksgiving Basket Brigade” to build Turkey Dinner baskets for Santa Barbara’s less fortunate families.

OUR TENETS

Whether it’s in the front office or on the mat during class, everything at our Dojo must align with our 5 values. These are the Tenets of the Martial Arts and the backbone of our business.

COURTESY - “I treat others the way I want to be treated”

INTEGRITY - “I am accountable for my words and actions”

PERSEVERANCE - “I motivate myself to get it done”

SELF CONTROL - “I am in charge of my attitude and behavior”

INDOMITABLE SPIRIT - “I can overcome all obstacles”

We are a Black Belt School

What does it mean to be a Black Belt School? To us, it means that we all are seeking perfection and yet still learning. It means that we treat everyone with the same respect as we would give a Black Belt. It means that in our school, each person’s best is possible.

A Black Belt isn’t a cookie cutter award. Black Belt is a culture of being one’s personal best. It’s an accomplishment that will take all of your strength, and leave you feeling even stronger.
